We are thrilled to announce that our next Speaker will be Breast Surgeon Dr Trevor Smith.

Trevor practises from The Breast Centre in Auckland, where he works closely with a team of specialists including pathologists, radiologists, oncologists and plastic surgeons to provide his patients with the best possible care.

To be held in Auckland on Wednesday 12th February from 7pm - 8.30pm.

Trevor has a special interest in the role of ultrasound in improving breast assessment, and has extensive experience in all aspects of breast surgery.  He will address the broader issues of health and wellbeing talked about in his 'Breast Care' book including "is the increasing rate of breast cancer a warning that things are seriously amiss with our current lifestyle?" along with "can we move beyond early detection and look at reducing the 1:10 risk of getting breast cancer that currently exists for women in New Zealand"?  This becomes a wonderful opportunity of Trevor sharing his breadth of knowledge on how a women can empower herself through knowledge, treatment options and self care to maintain or regain her health.  A talk not to be missed.
